Children’s Healthy and Stable Development Factors
Ensuring the healthy and stable development of children is crucial in social work, and in the general operation of society, as young people are the backbone of our society. To help them grow in a stable, healthy, and productive environment, various policy changes may need to be made, to better accommodate their needs in the changing world. The improvement of intervention and support systems to assist vulnerable children in their lives is one of the more effective and needed ways of influence, as those under health risk often lack proper support from the government. Frameworks for monitoring the mental and physical health status of young people are needed, especially at a community level, so that they can be supported at all levels of recovery. The change in policy needs to target healthcare services and be enacted by local government officials so that an overarching framework for working with young kids can be established. This change would be a beneficial one to the effort of assisting not only in preventing healthcare issues in children but also in remedying those that have already occurred. One of the barriers to improving monitoring efforts would be the difficulty of actually introducing effective frameworks for monitoring child health that can function in a large-scale environment. The monetary considerations also need to be included, as any change in policy would mean significant investment. Another avenue to think about would be the process of convincing the parents to assist medical organizations and the government in the effort of tracking their children’s health status. Overall, some specific considerations regarding the implementation need to be made, but the general goal of ensuring children’s wellbeing is more important.
