Organizational culture in any given company is seen as a unifying factor of all its principles, actions, policies, history, traditions, values, mission, and vision. The company’s organizational culture, which entails its shared beliefs and values, is constantly manifested through its personnel, who assume a crucial role in creating a workspace for transforming skills into actions.
Business managers should be concerned with organizational culture because it helps in lowering turnover. Employees are likely to remain in positions where they are highly respected and valued (Ziegler et al., 2021). Organizational culture is also vital for increasing productivity, creating a solid brand identity, and enhancing employee engagement. Coast Guard focuses on creating an organizational climate that allows everyone to exercise their diverse views, backgrounds, and experiences (Ziegler et al., 2021). The company tries to eradicate bullying and harassment as such incidents contravene Coast Guard’s devotion, honor, respect, and duty.
